The night belongs to the cat, as can be seen on this year's plaque. Like dark shadows, the cats flit up to the city's rooftops and hold their lovers' trysts under the moonlight shining on Copenhagen's historic buildings. To name but a few, we see the outline of the marble church's magnificent cupola and the stock exchange's tower with the intertwined dragons' tails.
