On this year's Christmas platter, peace has fallen. The house is decked with the finest Christmas decorations and the children and their mother relax in the warmth of the fire crackling in the hearth. They take turns guessing what wonderful presents father Christmas has for them. Mother promises that Santa will remember to bring a bone for the family's puppy that is lying on the warm blanket and listening.
